How to make an Iso/Wav/Cue set using TurboRip

TurboRip is a tool coded by NightWolve that allows to dump a PC-Engine disc into an Iso/Wav/Cue set with an extreme simplicity while still respecting the original TOC.
It's built with the same internal TOC database as TocFixer.
It's therefore able to identify as much CDs as this last one.

TurboRip is a command-line-based application but it's possible to run it with no parameter in order to use the default provided options, this is what we're going to see here.

Insert to the game to dump in your drive and launch TurboRip :

A window listing your available CD-Rom drive(s) will open.
You just need to input the number matching the drive you want to use (in my case 1) :

And validate it to begin the extraction process :

Without specific parameter TurboRip will use a reading speed of 4x.
If this isn't possible it will switch to the lowest speed supported by the selected drive (in my case 12x).

Once the dumping process is over :

You'll have your .iso, .wav, .cue, and .toc files :

TurboRip can also :

Dump a game into an Iso/Mp3/Toc set in order to make a rip usable with emulators such as HugoX (Xbox), MednafenX (Xbox) or even PCEP (Psp).

Dump a game into an Iso/Ape set in order to make a lossless audio rip smaller than an Iso/Wav one.

Dump any PC-FX, Saturn, PSX, Sega CD, etc.. disc, assuming its structure is respecting the pregaps rule that follows :

00:03:00 for a data track following an audio one.
00:02:00 for an audio track following a data one.

Since most NeoGeoCD games do NOT respect this rule, TurboRip in its current release is NOT suitable to make accurate Iso/Wav/Cue sets of these games.

For more details about the many possibilities offered by TurboRip, please check the documentation that is provided with the program.
